In Bolivia, after Evo Morales renounced to the presidency and fled to Mexico under the political asylum he was granted, violence and social unrest has magnified.
Evo Morales is still sending orders to Bolivia, as his small yet powerful groups oblige many of the poor - through threats of fining them, taking their land, taking their homes, etc - to cause havoc in the cities, violently manifest in pro-Evo movements, burn homes of leaders of the opposition, and enter the cities armed with bombs, dynamite, firearms and gas bombs that are given to them by Evo's militia groups.
Yesterday, a member of the Colombian FARC guerrilla was found in the Santa Cruz department of Bolivia, fighting in one of the violent confrontations financed and promoted by Evo's political party and militant groups. At this same confrontation two peaceful pro-democracy protestors got killed, one being a 20 year old boy. Other than the FARC guerrilla member, today 100 intelligence agents from Cuba and Venezuela were denounced to be running operations in Bolivia in support of Evo's return for his reseizure of power.
Below is a speech I made at the protest I attended in Miami this past Sunday, the day of Evo's resignation to the presidency...
In the speech, I explain how we, the Bolivian people, may have won one fight, yet we still did not win the WAR. The government and the powerful group we are facing is not only Evo Morales and his political party, we are facing major international forces who have high interests in Evo's reseizure and remain in power due to a variety of factors that should be prudently discussed. These forces are extremely well trained, highly and dangerously armed groups, with complex structures and schemes to terrorize and cause social unrest.
I state: "Today, Bolivia has made an enormous step forward in our fight for our liberty, and in the fight for the liberty of the entirety of Latin America".
The Bolivian people must be prudent, resistant, and continue fighting for our democracy, not only in Bolivia, but the Bolivians around the entire world must continue mobilizing themselves in support of our compatriots in the motherland.
We must continue with an ardor for freedom that is invincible, until our FINAL VICTORY.
Viva Bolivia Libre y Democrática!!
